# FAQ

Common questions about Mojo, wallets, agents, and support.

### Is Mojo open to everyone?

Yes. Anyone can sign up — there's no invite code required and no waitlist.

An invite still counts for something, though: if you join through someone's invite link, they earn a share of the trading and subscription fees you generate. See Invite & Rewards.

### What can Mojo trade today?

Mojo currently supports four venues:

* **Hyperliquid** for perpetual futures
* **On-chain spot** across 6 chains (Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon) and 500+ DEX protocols
* **Polymarket** for prediction markets
* **Binance** — spot and perpetuals in your own Binance account, once you've connected it

A single agent can act across them at the same time.

#### Can I trade on Binance with Mojo?

Yes. Connect your own Binance account with an API key, and agents can trade spot and perpetuals there and move funds between your Binance wallets — with no withdrawal permission, ever. Your funds stay on Binance. See [Connecting Your Binance Account](/user-guide/connecting-your-binance-account.md).

#### Do I need an exchange account, API keys, or KYC?

Not to start.

You sign in, get a non-custodial wallet, fund it with USDC, and trade on Hyperliquid, on-chain spot and Polymarket from there — no exchange account, no API keys, no KYC inside Mojo. See [Quick Start](/user-guide/quick-start.md).

Trading on Binance is optional. If you want it, you connect your own Binance account with an API key — see [Connecting Your Binance Account](/user-guide/connecting-your-binance-account.md).

### Do I need an exchange account, API keys, or KYC?

No API keys.

No centralized exchange setup.

No KYC inside Mojo.

You sign in, get a non-custodial wallet, fund it with USDC, and start from there. See [Quick Start](/user-guide/quick-start.md).

### Who controls my funds?

Your assets sit in your own on-chain wallet address — Mojo has no pooled fund account and does not aggregate user assets.

Private keys are managed by **Privy**, the Stripe-owned wallet infrastructure used by OpenSea and Hyperliquid's official app. Mojo's servers never store your private key, and Mojo operates with trading permissions only. **You can export your own embedded wallet's private key through** [**Privy Home**](https://home.privy.io/) **and manage that wallet's on-chain assets in a compatible wallet app.** This is separate from Mojo's agent trading permissions.

### How do I export my Mojo wallet or access funds sent on the wrong network?

Mojo enables users to export their own embedded wallet keys through **Privy Home**, without using Mojo's app or website for the export. You still need access to your linked login method, any required authentication factors, and Privy Home.

If you are checking a missing deposit, first find the actual withdrawal network and transaction hash in the sending wallet or exchange. Use that network's block explorer to confirm that the transaction succeeded and the recipient is your Mojo wallet address. **BSC and opBNB are different networks**: funds sent on opBNB must be checked on opBNB. An asset not appearing in Mojo does not necessarily mean it is missing on-chain.

To export and access your wallet:

1. Open [home.privy.io](https://home.privy.io/) and sign in. Use or link the same login identity you use for Mojo. If you use a social login such as Google, link that same social account in Privy Home's account settings; a matching email address alone may not be sufficient.
2. Under **My apps**, select **MOJO**. Check that the wallet address matches your Mojo wallet and, for a missing deposit, the transaction's recipient address.
3. Select **Export keys** and complete the requested authentication for your Mojo account. Under **Your wallets**, choose the matching wallet, select **Export**, then use **Copy key**.
4. Import the private key into a wallet app that supports both the wallet type and the network where your assets arrived. Verify that the imported wallet's address is the same, then select the transaction's actual network.
5. If the token is not displayed, confirm its balance in the block explorer and add it using its contract address on that network if needed. You can then transfer it or use a bridge that supports the network and token. Transactions require that network's native gas token; do not assume Mojo's gas sponsorship applies in an external wallet. Check the destination's supported network and token, and test with a small transfer first.

Importing a key opens the **same wallet** in another app. It does not move funds or bridge them to another network. Exporting also does not stop running Mojo agents or revoke existing authorizations; stop any agents that may use these assets before moving them externally.

This process cannot recover funds sent to someone else's address. It does not automatically withdraw exchange balances, close perpetual positions, or redeem prediction-market positions; those still require the relevant venue's process.

### Can Mojo withdraw or transfer my funds?

The system is designed so there's no path for it.

Every on-chain action an agent takes must pass a **contract whitelist** — it only recognizes audited trading protocols, and there is no whitelisted route for sending funds to an unknown address. Hyperliquid withdrawals are locked to your own wallet address. On top of that, the backend continuously reconciles every withdrawal and position — anomalous actions are blocked, logged, and trigger alerts.

In short: the agent gets a trading desk, not the vault keys.

### Do I need to keep the app open for my strategy to run?

No.

Once you confirm a strategy, the agent keeps running. You can close the app and come back later.

### What if Mojo misunderstands my strategy?

Nothing should execute until you approve the strategy card.

Read that card carefully before you confirm. If anything looks wrong, edit the parameters or rewrite your request. Start small while you learn how Mojo interprets your intent.

### Can I change or stop an agent after it starts?

Yes.

You can inspect, modify, pause, or cancel an agent at any time. See [Managing Your Agents](/user-guide/managing-your-agents.md).

### Can I start a new chat?

Yes.

Use **New chat** — at the top of the left sidebar on web, or at the top of the chat screen in the app. All your chats are under **Chats**, where you can pin, rename, or archive them. A new chat doesn't reset the preferences Mojo remembers about you. See [Managing Your Chats](/user-guide/managing-your-chats.md).

### What is the safest way to start?

Start with a monitoring-only strategy first.

Then use small USDC sizes on a simple conditional trade. Do not jump into complex, leveraged, multi-platform strategies on day one.

Read [Quick Start](/user-guide/quick-start.md) and the [Disclaimer](/beta-disclaimer.md) before trading real funds.

### What should I do if something looks broken?

Report it immediately.

Send what you tried, what you expected, what happened, when it happened, and a screenshot if you have one. Use [Feedback and Support](/user-guide/feedback-and-support.md).

### Where should I ask questions or request access?

Use the community channels.

The main conversation happens in Telegram. You can also follow product updates through the official community links. See [Community & Links](/community-and-links.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.mojo.trade/user-guide/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
